As we explore Neville’s ideas, we gradually effect in ourselves what I have been calling a “reversal” of mind. In doing so, we move further away from what is habitual.
The reversal means, for example, to consider that the external 3-D world does not exist independently, but is a reflection of the psyche. That seems outlandish -- certainly a strange thing to dwell upon.
The reversal also means to escape from the “release phenomenon” (see podcast E14) -- the usual state of mind that is rather disjointed and even feverish. That takes relaxation and uncommon vigilance over thoughts and feelings.
As well, the reversal signifies switching from a negative orientation (reacting to everything) to a positive one, making us the creative source. You might even be startled by a coincidental encounter with something that is too charged with meaning to be ignored.
In all these examples, you must act consciously. You may feel strange, yet you are returning to sanity, well being, and what is truly normal.
